Storage add-on for Pro and Business+: +100 GB of shared storage per unit, $5 per month, or $50 per year billed annually.

Fair billing
Pay only for people who are active.
When paid plans start, seats will be counted from real use, not from a head count on the day you signed up.
Only active people count
You will be billed for members who were active in the last 28 days. People who have not opened CM Chat in that time will not be billed.
Inactive mid-period earns a credit
If a member goes inactive part-way through a billing period, the unused time will be credited to your next invoice, prorated.
Guests are mostly free
Single-channel guests will be free, up to 5 per billed member. Guests who are in more than one channel will be billed as members. Guest access always expires.
Downgrading never deletes anything
If you move to a plan with a shorter history, older messages will be hidden, not removed. They come back when you move to a plan with longer history.

Is CM Chat billed yet?
No. CM Chat is in private beta and beta workspaces are not billed. Billing for a workspace only starts if you agree to it in writing first. Write to hello@cmchat.app with any question.
Who counts as an active member?
A member is active if they used CM Chat in the last 28 days. Only active members will be billed. Your workspace owner is always counted.
What happens when a member becomes inactive?
They will stop being billed. If it happens part-way through a billing period, the unused time will be credited, prorated. If they come back, they count again from that day.
How do guests work?
A guest who is in a single channel is free, up to 5 such guests for every billed member. A guest who is in more than one channel is billed like a member. Guests always have expiring access, so nobody stays by accident.
Should I choose monthly or annual?
Annual billing is cheaper per month (saves 17% on every paid plan) and is charged once a year. Monthly billing is charged every month.
What is in the Free plan?
Free includes 90 days of message history, 5 GB of file storage for the workspace, files up to 25 MB, 10 bots and webhooks and up to 5 guests with expiring access. It is a complete chat workspace for a small team, not a trial.
Are taxes included?
Prices do not include tax. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is added to your invoice.
What is Enterprise?
Enterprise is for organizations that need custom terms, single sign-on or a named contact. It is set up with our team, so there is no list price. Write to hello@cmchat.app.
Who sells CM Chat?
CM Chat is a product of Image Depot LLC, and Image Depot LLC is the seller on every invoice.
