Threads

A thread keeps a side conversation under one message, so the channel stays tidy.

Reply in a thread

1. Point at the message.
2. Click Reply in thread.
3. A panel opens on the right showing the original message.
4. Type your reply and press Enter.

Read a thread

Messages with replies show a count, such as "3 replies", and the time of the last reply. Click it to open the thread.

Things to know

• Replies do not clutter the main channel.
• Everyone who can read the channel can read its threads.
• You can edit, delete and react to replies the same way as other messages.
• Deleting the first message leaves a "message deleted" note, and the replies stay.
